St. Augustine School serves the children of the parish, but the diverse enrollment includes students of other faiths from Napoleon, Liberty Center, McClure, Florida, Holgate, Wauseon, Archbold, Hamler, and Defiance. St. Augustine has 54 students enrolled in Preschool through 8th grade, as of October 31, 2020.
Students are offered a varied curriculum in Preschool through 8th grade with small class sizes. Our students' discipline and leadership skills are known in the community, and they continue to exhibit these qualities as they continue on to high school and college.
St. Augustine School is in a unique position as it is the only Catholic school in Henry County. Our well-maintained facility offers a safe place for our children to learn and play.
An Extended day program is in place. Parents may drop children at school beginning at 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Children are cared for by a licensed teacher.
We are very proud of our music program of vocal and instrumental instruction, having a very high percentage of our students involved in band. We have two musical productions each school year.
There is never a lack of opportunity to participate in activities at St. Augustine School.
